Craigmillar Castle Event - Long Blue

Really enjoyed this course, was proper good. Liked the contrast between the park, the urban area & the technical quarry bit at the start & end. Had to think about changing speed a lot. Tried to plan ahead as much as possible but still not too great at this.

Mistakes were on entering the technical bits & also got stuck behind a hedge.
Gooood fun though :)

Went & discovered the swimming pool for the first time.
Did 30min really fast, not sure how many lengths i did but was pretty out of breath at the end.

Note

Went iceskating too. This was surprisingly really hard work!!!

Squats, lunges etc etc with the weights & some core stuff. Enjoy this more as the weeks go on.

1min on/off on the bike. felt goood.

Jogged there with bex & then warmed down on bike

Just a nice run to get me out of the room this evening since can't make intervals tonight.
