Running warm up/down 30:00 [3] 2.0 km (15:00 / km) +30m 13:57 / km

Ran to Hambleton Hough before the session and then once round and back afterwards, with some drills and stretches

Running hills 15:00 [5]

Did 6 x hill reps with active recovery ~

Sprinted to the top of the hough (nb, not a very large hill !!) 45sec, then jogged back down to the bottom through the bracken using that as my recovery, so once i reached the bottom i went straight back up.

My legs burned! i'm so pathetic. Had to be a short session though, having a social day and needed to fit in some form of training between.

(rest day)

Christmas Shopping! (classified as weight training i think!)

Running 32:30 [3] 7.2 km (4:31 / km)
shoes: Old trainers

Beasted along today :)
Did the same route as tuesday and took off so much time! I guess that's what being prepared and having a goal does for you. Tried to do the 3 loops in the same time and did almost exactly 8.20 for each one.

good stuff, time for holidays !!!!!

Stretching 1:00:00 [3]

Had the woman instructor back...

Had a jab today so my arm kind of hurt doing weights, but did lots of the more aerobical stuff instead - shuttle run/ jumps/ step/ squats etc

Was alright but i don't feel like i worked as hard as last weeks session.

Tuesday Dec 16, 2008 #

Running warm up/down 20:00 [1]

Running 40:00 [3] 7.2 km (5:33 / km)
shoes: Old trainers

Did some loops of my side of the village.

Got to the point now where i'm not just running to get selected for JWOC and such, but i'm actually doing it because i enjoy it as well, ( but obviously i do still want to get to jwoc!!!! a lot! ).
I don't have to force myself to run is what i think i'm trying to say :)

Thinking - "time for my run yay" rather than "i can't be bothered but i will do it because i have to"

Makes training a whole lot easier.
