Ribble Valley 10k - a lovely new pb of 35:35 :D
A surprisingly undulating course but offset by beautiful conditions & a strong field to pull me along. Feeling pretty flat but Rachel convinced me that I was in 35:XX shape & to just commit to it. Wanted to die from about 5km.

I’ve avoided it for weeks but finally succumbed to the office illness, cry. That’s what 2 days trapped in a meeting room with ill people does to you. Just a sore throat & tiredness but bailed on the planned run - hoping it doesn’t become a proper cold.

Leila convinced me to do the Leeds Relays today (which I didn’t even know was a thing) so ran over to West Park.

Ran last leg for Leeds City. Super muddy and tough underfoot but a nice enjoyable length course. I mentally gave up half way and decided the gap to Sheffield was too big to close... until we hit the firmer ground with 500m to go & I changed my mind hehe.
Only 3 seconds off Georgia’s fastest time as well - v v happy with that :-)
