Felt a little bit perkier this afternoon after a nice nap so decided to man up and just go for a run. Think it did my cold some good actually & at least I don't feel any worse for it. Fingers crossed I'll survive for SU ball tomorrow!

Woke up with a really sore throat and not feeling peachy at all. Really gentle bike session after helping at the SoSOL. Was cold and sniffly and just feeling a bit exhausted. Bed mega early tonight I think!

So not quite the 4.4km advertised and I didn't intend to run for so long. Not a great result but no mistakes just steady running really. Could have done with planning some routes ahead a bit more as made one or two bad decisions in the moment to avoid faffing. Really good course though if a bit too physical!!! Shin aches a wee bit so I'll give it 2days to calm down

This instructor was an absolute machine! Such a tough tough class this time compared to the orange woman's one. Wanted to die after about 10mins. Got to come back to this one for the aerobic work.

Exam and post-exam celebrations out of the way now so I'll get back on the training tomorrow properly.

ESOC training at Ravelston Wood - green course with a bit of retro pin punching. Felt mega slow and not quite flowing through the controls but for my first orienteering in quite some time I'm happy enough. Especially loved the woman who asked if I needed help. && no pain at all, not even a twinge :D but did manage to bramble myself to death!

Since I can't do the long run I really need to get in a proper half decent endurance session. I know this one wasn't long enough but my god it was boring. 50min spinning, 20min cross training, 10min rowing.

Really nice chilled jog round the meadows after morning lectures. Ended with some drills and a few strides. No pain.

Nice session after podiatry, some cross training and core stuff.
Mega super jolly today :) All is looking good on the leg frontage and my posture and running style have greatly improved, whoopa!

Went up to Brayton Barff and did 2 laps of the bottom path and one hilly loop to the top. Felt alright, a bit heavy legged. Shin not bad, a bit twingey but manageable.

Cross trainer, bike and rowing machine alternated. A bit hungry though as thought I was going earlier and then couldn't get a lift.
