Running 40:00 [3] 7.5 km (5:20 / km)

Gotten over my cold now, so down along the canal before lectures. Can kind of feel my shin a bit when I run so it's probably going to be a lot of gym sessions and maybe just running when there is orienteering training/events.
Not too fussed, just happy to be exercising :)

Orienteering race 48:00 [4] 6.3 km (7:37 / km)

London City Race - absolutely loved it. First Orienteering in months. Now for a lovely few days in London recovering from my mega freshers flu

Note

Life update.
Almost 2 months out due to a wee fracture in my shin. Given me an awful lot of time to focus on other things and reassess my priorities in life.
As much as I totally LOVE orienteering, I just cannot commit my whole life to it. This has probably been obvious to everyone except myself for years now!
I will always continue to try be the very best I can be, and search for those elusive perfect runs, but no more stressing over the need to train every single day.
Totally feel much much happier this way. Just going to focus on getting fit, staying healthy and enjoying my sport once more.

Bike 45:00 [4]

Spinning class with Chloe. Bit of a HR obsessed pro cyclist running it these days. Much better for my shin than running though.

Bike warm up/down 30:00 [2]

To the gym, home and a bit before class.
