Lakeside Weekend - Claife Heights

Shadowed an M14 from the South West squad. Focused on finding good route choices and attckpoints and then being acurate and more careful into the control. Also on height judgement on the slopes. Thought he did really well, better than i would ever have done at 14.
Thought the area seemed similarish to some of the JWOC areas i've seen maps of, so was good to have a run in some steep terrain and to be forced to keep map contact. I actually navigated way better than normal becuase i didn't switch off! I think i'll pretend i'm shadowing someone next event!

Then complained with Stu about how cold we were! Collected in the controls and actually thought i was going to die when this HUGE dog came charging at me with its fangs out. I have never been so scared in all my life! This little girl was screaming for her dad that it was going to attack me and i was just stood there stupidly holding a control. If he hadn't come it would have actually biten me. Was really shaken up after that and had a teary moment after legging back to the car faster than i ever have run in my life!!

Note
(injured)

foot pain is back :( very very concerned that it is something more serious than i first though
