A nice easy stroll to the start and slowly back...

Orienteering race 1:01:22 [4] ** 8.0 km (7:40 / km) +200m 6:49 / km
spiked:25/28c

Baddow Ridge - Blue course: well, after 2.5 months (and a miserable end to 2017 and start to 2018) it was actually lovely to get back out into a forest with a map. The hamstring is still sore and will clearly impair the speed I can race at, but it's fine - getting out matters more than anything. Worth coming to (first time too) - physically tough (for EA) with good climb and some nice technical controls. Went okay but generally just running slowly! 53.25 for the actual 6.9K course (excluding the timed out section of 1.1K). There was also a control missing (no.8).
