Impressed that V managed to go a whole year without catching a plane - I only managed 2 weeks. Flew into Sydney last night and G had booked a hotel in the CBD so we were able to walk out to Darling Harbour for supper in much more pleasant temperatures than back in Adelaide. This morning I managed the highly scenic tourist-run I didn't have time to finish last Nov: east across to and around the Botanic Gardens foreshore, Opera House, Circular Quay, under the coathanger and back via Barangaroo before hotel buffet breakfast (no fish products whatsoever in evidence) and heading out to Penrith for in-law stuff. I don't think I saw anywhere urban on my travels which was quite as magnificent as the Harbour City - there's no place like Australia!

Just the short loop up past the lake as rain began after a warm day - so that there was time afterwards to hear about Zara & Steve's rogaining adventures.

Big group tonight because most of the schools' team kiddies and their parents came out. Nth Adl loop involved 30-sec sprints but I didn't do all of them because I am still pretty stuffed.

Not particularly enthused, but didn't have a good enough reason not to go for a jog around the suburbs, and actually this was faster than at any time before I went away. My night vision really is scheisse though :(

Headed to the beach @Seacliff for some fresh air after spending all day on my feet in the dispensary. It was fresh all right: blustery wind from the south, the tide right in and waves crashing against the rocks. I did not swim, unlike in Denmark, although I suspect the water temperature might have been similar.
