running 51:00 [3]

This morning's early awakening was brought to me by stomach cramps (have had a funny tummy for the past week, but these were the other kind) and I wasn't sure about going running tonight but really wanted some fresh air before OSA council meeting. We ran along the river to the weir then back to the Festival Centre then did 3x 1km-ish loops around the plaza & riverbank precinct, based on line courses drawn by Bridget and then modified on-the-run due to the presence of building works; at one point we found ourselves running through the foyer of the Convention Centre past tables being set up for supper. Good fun but these were meant to be at sprint pace and I certainly wasn't sprinting.
Microwaved my dinner before OSA meeting but then managed to drop the lunchbox on my way into the meeting room, losing half the food and becoming even grumpier than I already was. Decided to verbally contribute nothing whatsoever to the meeting, partly in (silent) protest against Wallaringa's having been shafted by OSA over Easter map royalties for use of Merridee, and also because I was curious to see whether, even if I thought of something pertinent, someone else would eventually say the same thing which I had been thinking. This worked pretty well although I was sometimes obliged to shake my head or nod whenever a question was put directly to me. And the matter of Easter map royalties was actually brought up by Yalanga, because they are equally pissed off at the payments they didn't receive for use of Bri Glen.
