Hmm, so I may have overused my legs a bit yesterday. Then again, Pewsey Vale isn't the most open and fast area to run through. It was nice, especially in the native stuff towards the north, but there was a fair bit of up & down. Soft mature pine forest was good to run through, but young with thinnings was horrible. Geoff Bennett set a pretty good course with a mix of legs, plenty of concentrating, and only one control slightly in the wrong place. I still think that there is something weird about the southern tip of the hill in the southeastern big native patch; when I came to the top of it the mapped knoll was on the wrong side of me, and this has happened more than once before.
Afterwards George & I lunched with Steve Cooper at Oakbank (compared splits to find the 9 min Steve took out of me), spent the afternoon at my grandfather's then met the Sodens at the pub in Aldgate for tea. So no housework - or packing - was achieved this weekend either :)
