Note
(injured)

Went for a small walk to stretch the legs and get some fresh air. made my back hurt and got out of breath fairly quickly. :( rubbish. On the plus side the actual hernia site/stitches didnt hurt too much.

Rowing warm up/down 20:00 [2]
shoes: Boat!

warm up run and stretch, row down to the start

Rowing race (BUCS Time Trials) 6:09 [5] 1.5 km (4:06 / km)
shoes: Boat!

time trials, went well, good wind up but shocking weather made it a bit messy. We all rowed 'long and strong' as per the favourite call of the day :) Power 10s on every 250m mark worked a treat.
1 PM

Rowing warm up/down 20:00 [2]
shoes: Boat!

ditto earlier

Rowing race (BUCS Heat 1) 8:13 [5] 2.0 km (4:07 / km)
shoes: Boat!

Conditions even more shocking as wind and rain progressed to sideways hail.
Very good effort, shame about the rushed start. Missed out getting through to the semis, but still, 13th out of the country isnt half bad!! :)
