BUCS Rowing.
4am start to get to Notts on time, i was NOT happy. Massive event, i had no idea it would be so huge and surprisingly well organised - especially as they were only using two platforms to boat up.
Our girls and boys didnt do as well as hoped - they're good, but the competition was better! Despite this i must say i was incredibly impressed with how dedicated they all are, i've never met sportspeople so motivated and focussed. One of the guys had lost 3kg in a week to fit in the lightweight category! Watching the races it was pretty clear where their training goes, there was no slacking off or letting someone else on the team work harder, it was 100% effort all round. It made me think how much slacking off ive done recently, and if i was on a team, how much i'd have had a kick up the bum by now! So i've decided its time to get the competitive head back on, and start doing some serious training :) They want me as a bow lady next year too ...

Oh, and well done Chris for being spotted for U23 GB squad :D
