Yoga 50:00 [1]

Yoga!
Hips, though my right one was just as sore afterwards as before (and always)

Note

Worked registration at Fort Washington; I don't like the park much and was unenthused about orienteering today. Nice to talk to everyone (and maybe learn a few more names to go with familiar faces?).

Note

On my feet for several hours today as I volunteered at a quilt show. Only 5070 steps (so far) to show for it, though my knees are somewhat unhappy with all the standing.

Nice quilt show with some great winning quilts.

Note

US Champs Middle - Route Gadget (all course 5; Middle added Sept 19 when they uploaded maps)

US Champs Long - Route Gadget

Comparing my routes to Evan's I see that the around-low route to 7 (on the road, through the start/finish area) would have been faster. Cutting up to the road more directly to 2 would have been better too, but I was trying to skirt the logged area.

US Champs Sprint - Route Gadget

Note

Flower we saw at Crater Lake that reminded me of The Lorax's truffula trees was a western pasqueflower/anemone

Note

Made it home on time from Sacramento via Detroit, after the pilots told us in DET that too much fuel had been loaded on the plane and they had to burn some before we took off (otherwise we might have landed early).

First flight went well, though Delta's offerings for lunch (we were in first class on points...yay!) left a bit to be desired.... I watched Rocketman and the first part of Bohemian Rhapsody (including the Mike Myers cameo). Great music!
