To the almost-start location/finish (stopped my watch before reaching actual start). Double this distance for the walk back to parking.

Orienteering 1:36:49 intensity: (3 @0) + (2:04 @1) + (18:29 @2) + (36:02 @3) + (32:38 @4) + (7:33 @5) *** 7.2 km (13:27 / km) +91m 12:39 / km

Deschutes Daze 1-Short, advertised as 4.3 km, but we think they forgot to add back in the distances of the shortcuts-from-the-Long. We skipped 5-6-7 and 9.

Temp at start 65-70. It stayed cool at Mt Bachelor, certainly cooler than the 88 in Bend when we got back.

Trouble with 5 (didn't take a split; bag was hidden in trees), 11 (6th split) (relocated from the road beyond it and then still was one non-ridge over (but saw people) and 14 (not as bad an error. Knee pain coming down the hill out of 13, but I stopped to stretch when I reached the wide trail, and was okay from there.

10 through 14 (my splits 5-9) where in a detailed lava area. Map name? Witch of Many Boulders ;-)

Two falls, one a wooomph onto my belly; the other was softer.

Yoga 50:00 [1]

Focus: pelvic balance. With our small class she even got ambitious and had us try inversions.

Hah (for me; a couple others were more successful getting feet up the wall. We went from a down dog with heels against the wall to trying to walk up the wall. I don't have enough upper body strength for that.)

Walking 40:01 intensity: (27 @0) + (38:15 @1) + (1:19 @2) 3.31 km (12:06 / km)
ahr:95 max:105

Around the neighborhood, after dinner and after having driven home from Dubois, PA (where we stayed overnight last night after the adventure run).

We detoured through the West Decatur, PA, area to check out a couple of cemeteries that are the final resting places of Glen's mom's maternal grandparents (and a great-grandfather). We found the cemetery locations through Find a Grave and Ancestry but hadn't been in the area for a long time. For one cemetery we even had a plot map I found online, making it relatively easy to find the gravestones.
