Walking (paved) 44:50 [2] 2.5 mi (17:56 / mi)
slept:6.5 shoes: Sauc.Shad.6000#7-2012H

Walked west on our road to investigate possible accident from this morning, but I only saw some remnant pieces of headlights/bumpers/battery cover plastic, mostly, on the shoulders of the road. We heard a snow plow go down the hill on our road (east) to the corner and back up around 7:20-7:30, then Glen heard sirens, and we saw a tow truck with a truck/plow go by. Glen also noted flare remnants near the corner.

No clues, really, as to what happened, but we can speculate...

Then I went a bit farther before turning around, because it was sunny and 56 when I headed out. Cloudy and 54 by the time I returned.

Pilates class (bands) 55:00 [1]
slept:7.0

Standing yoga warmup with many warrior poses. Then bands used for just about all body parts.
11 AM

Walking (track) 34:08 intensity: (3:44 @1) + (30:24 @3) 2.2 mi (15:31 / mi)

Knee still "tweaky" but okay. Sped up in the second mile after a high school age boy racing his buddies hit my hand as he passed by (after he startled a "goddammit" out of me).
15:26/14:57/3:44

20 pulldowns at 70# on the new machine/setup (easier than 62.5# on the old machine; new setup only goes up in 10# increments)

Note

On Tuesday we had enough of a south wind blowing during the rainstorm that an aspen tree came down across our driveway and near the county road we live on. On Wednesday a crew from the county came and cut it up, cleaned up the small branches, and left the logs next to the driveway (at one point saying that they'd be back in a week or so to get the logs if they were still there).

Glen put out a sign saying "free wood" and before long they were gone. Quick cleanup!

Pilates class (weights) 50:00 [1]
slept:7.0

Feeling upper body from yesterday's Yoga class, so fatiguing came sooner on a few moves but we didn't hold anything very long. Good class.

Yoga 55:00 [1]
slept:7.5

Emily's Monday yoga class because the class in Chatham is off this week.

Some warrior and half moon poses were challenging, and the time we spent in pigeon was not nice to my knee which objected once I got to the track. Still, it was bending more than it had been in January...

Walking (track) 29:29 intensity: (3:53 @1) + (25:36 @3) 1.89 mi (15:36 / mi)
shoes: Sauc.Shad-6000#8-2014H

A mile, then most of a mile before knee cried uncle. Cool down was slow.
