Snow day. Had a nice sleep-in, for once.

Newspaper is buried under snow, so I guess I'll have to get that dug out sometime (or wait until Glen snow blows the driveway :-)).

Exerc. Class 55:00 [1]

Left calf very tight this morning so I rolled it with the Stick before class. Avoided all the jumping moves ("jump rope") and anything that tightens the calf muscle more than it already is and added some extra stretches.

Trying my first Crock Pot recipe today (Hawaiian meatballs)...we'll see that goes.

Pilates class 55:00 [2]

In the "all-purpose room" while they refinish the floor in the aerobics studio. About the same size room (directly under the studio) but without mirrors and with a shorter ceiling making it look smaller. No tools (balls, bands, weights, or rings) available but we did have mats so did a lot of exercises from the floor.

Tried the side planks again and while my right shoulder feels achy it's not too bad. And I could do roll ups and roll downs and teasers again...I figured the bruising would subside by now (2+ weeks post-injury). On the double leg circles, though, a tendon (ITB?) kept snapping, annoyingly, over my right hip bone, an area that's achy most of the time anyway.

Did pulldowns (11@62.5#) and adductors (12@75, 10@70) and stretched the hip some more (beyond what we did at the end of class).

Plan is to walk from home after we get a few errands done since its so gorgeous outside yet. Hope we don't get much if any snow tonight (latest is that the Adirondacks will get the most, and maybe VT, just in time for the ski O champs?).

The promised walk. :-) MB balloon. 52F and sunny made it very comfortable...just a bit of breeze here and there.
