"Orienteered" at Colonie Center (one of several malls in the area). Picked up my Reindeer Games map and scorecard at the customer service desk (wwk, if your family hasn't done this yet, you should! Just go early....), and located Santa's 9 reindeer (including Rudolph; there were posters on the walls) around the mall.
Incline at .5%. Girl next to me was doing about 6.5 mph, which is out of my reach except perhaps for a short spurt (and definitely not a warmup).
Learned about Richard Engel and crew being rescued from a kidnapping in Syria. Situation hadn't been publicized because they didn't want another Daniel Pearl-type incident.
First one was too slow but I was able to pick it up a little. Need to keep doing these over the winter, now that my (mild) case of PF is mostly under control. Times per 345m lap: 2:08-2:03-2:04 (target 2:02 or less).
Lazy day, though I did get something done today that needed doing. And yesterday I got needed website work done too. Just not getting out much when it's in the 30s (or colder).
