Yard wrangling 10:00 [0]

Pulled some weeds; spread some peat moss (that we needed to dispose of, so what better way than in the "garden," such as it is?), ditto on some grass seed. I wil hope for rain but have no plans to water the widespread seed.

This stretched out my hamstrings some, which needed it.

Pilates class (weights) 55:00 [1]
slept:7.0

We started with a yoga warmup today, so that time is included. I didn't push anything involving shoulder (push-ups; reverse bridges) because my neck/shoulder area hurt for three days after last week's class. Good stuff otherwise.
11 AM

Fitness equipment (elliptical) 17:00 [3]
shoes: Sauc. Grid Cohes.9 -a 8.5W

15:00 plus cool down on hills, level 1 (described in excruciating detail last time I did this :-) ). Good for the quads; feet okay today.

Exerc. Class 50:00 [1]
slept:7.0

5-5-5 program again (times two as always).

Last week she went out of her comfort zone and instead of the usual sequence of aerobics then step then weights, we reversed the order. Today she did another experiment, with weights, then aerobics, and finishing with step. I thought last week's sequence was perceptibly harder, but she thought it easier. Who knows if she'll stick with a different order; doesn't really matter to me either way.

Pilates class (bands) 50:00 [1]
slept:7.0

Bands for lots of leg torture.
11 AM

Fitness equipment (elliptical) 23:25 [3]
shoes: Sauc. Grid Cohes.9 -a 8.5W

Hill program again, this time at level 1. Good leg workout; wish my feet felt better. Program seems to be:
Warmup
cycle of:
2 min incline 5 resistance 20
1 min i6 r20
1 min i8 r20
Then hills consisting of
1 min i8 r30
1 min i10 r35
1 min i12 r40
Repeat...
2 min cool down
distance 0.99
1 PM

Note

Three errands completed, now on to #4 of 8 (?).

Exerc. Class 50:00 [1]

I finally made it to this class (having missed the past 7 sessions, which I can deduct from next session's payment...). I'll miss tomorrow's too as we're having new carpeting installed in a couple of rooms, though I could conceivably go, rush home to change clothes, and then welcome the carpet guys, assuming they don't arrive early. Nah, I'll just skip it (again).

Pilates class (weights) 50:00 [1]
slept:6.5

Ah...back to Pilates class. I may be sore from a few things but am thankful my knee is more flexible than its been, though still not 100%.
11 AM

Fitness equipment (elliptical) 18:33 [2]
shoes: Sauc. Grid Cohes.9 -a 8.5W

Hill program, level 2, on Procor(sp?) 750AT. I'd done hill intervals before but not hills, which is just what it says...simulating climbing a hill with increasing resistance, then coming back down with a low resistance. Knees just starting to complain when stopped; hope to do this again.

Note

No time to go to classes and too hot/humid to spend much time outside (no bike...we just gave away our ancient ones to a bike rescue). Decluttering is moving along and most other plans are moving well too.

AP keeps telling me to post something so this is what you get. ;-)

Note

We held our first (and maybe last?) yard sale on Saturday. Good news was that we sold (or gave away) almost all the bigger (harder to dispose of) items. Lost time that could have been spent doing more cleaning and culling, but a pretty good day otherwise. I made another trip to Goodwill today with more glasses and mugs (and other things) which had been collecting dust in the cupboards. We still have plenty.

Also dropped off my sewing machine for a cleaning, and looked at a couple of Featherweights she had for sale (much more portable than my Bernina), but didn't bring one home.
