Taking a day (or two? or three if the forecasted rain for Sunday occurs) off. Visited a cemetery in Valatie to take some photos, but didn't find many of them before the rain showers started. I may re-visit sometime.
While investigating, I stumbled across the gravestone (and adjoining family grove) for Horace W. Peaslee, an early industrial magnate in my current hometown (he co-owned the paper mill at the Malden Bridge/Kinderhook Creek crossing). And he is actually not (yet?) on FindAGrave.com, but is written up in the 1878
history of Chatham, NY.
