Orienteering race 1:24:27 [5] 6.5 km (13:00 / km) +325m 10:24 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Nationals Long Distance M20A. Had an Absolute shocker of a run today, just couldn't get myself to navigate properly and kept making stupid decisions and not realizing what I was doing. lost over 20minutes and only nailed a few controls pretty demoralising to come 2nd to last but it seems a few other people had trouble with it as well. A bit dissapointed I didn't run down to M18A considering how bad I did as my Km'rate would still have got me the M18A trophy ahead of Ryan.

Orienteering race 36:05 [5] 3.2 km (11:17 / km) +225m 8:21 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Nationals Middle Distance M20A. Good start through 1 & 2 but lost 1min at 3 as I didn't read the description to know that it was between the boulders. lost another 1 min on 5 just because I didn't plan ahead well enough and went right to late. was goo though the forest to 6-11 and was feeling pretty strong through the forest. Route choice may have lost me some time at 12 but nothing major, good to 13, 14 but a bit slow to 15. took the straighter route to the finish up a supposedly white gully which ended up being very green loosing me 1 min again. Slightly better run than the sprint but still lost about 3minutes. came 6th. Also managed to smash the screen of my Garmin on some rocks so will have to see whether garmin will replace it..

Orienteering race 17:31 [5] 2.7 km (6:29 / km) +95m 5:31 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Nationals Sprint M20. Bit of mediocre run really not bad but not good. started well, took it easy to the first control then pushed the pace a bit out around the fields/tennis courts area. didn't really loose anytime until 11 where I made a stupid decision to go though the buildings costing me about 10 secs but mainly not leaving me time to plan 12 which lost me 20-30 secs as I got the exit direction wrong then went to the wrong side of the building. 13 good 14 a bit shaking and then decided to go over the hill which I think was good but I hesitated coming into the re-entrant. Felt myself slow down through 16-17 and then missed the gap at 18 (25 seconds lost), put the pace on through the spectator area as I new where they all were. last loop was painful and made a miss of 25 (15 secs). so probably 1:30 lost which is not to great for a sprint. Came 7th
