Orienteering race 59:03 [4] 7.46 km (7:55 / km) +260m 6:44 / km

British Night Champs at Hambledon. Nice and runnable but a bit too easy and hilly for my current level of fitness. No problems finding any of teh controls tho' I probably lost a bit with quite a banana on a longish leg towards the end, when I took a hill rather too straight on. 6th M60 4:23 down.

Run 58:06 [3] 9.0 km (6:27 / km) +98m 6:07 / km

Needed to raid the Reynolds' greenhouse in Swansea ready for next weekend's Welsh Champs, so took the opportunity to run with Alice along a bit of the Gower coast path which I can't recall ever having run along before - remarkable as that seems. Caswell bay to Limeslade bay and back. Very nice, even in quite a wind.

Urban Orienteering race 1:05:39 [3] 10.27 km (6:24 / km) +109m 6:04 / km

Cardiff Maprun around Penarth and Grangemoor.

Good fun and visted a lot of bits of Cardiff I had not been to before - Asda, Tesco, Morrisons.......or at least their car parks. And also the Marina, White water centre ( for some JK sprint practice) , International pool, Grangemoor park and along the Ely.

Orienteering race 1:06:01 [4] 7.99 km (8:16 / km) +190m 7:23 / km

Long. Again good to start, then marred by a couple of bad mistakes.

Slightly off on direction to 5, and then trying to make things fit erroneously. looks form my GPs that I got really close to 6 but just didn't see it slightly hidden in a bush. Really unforgiving terrain.

But great fun. Would definitely orienteer in this part of Spain again.
