Run race 22:32 [4] 5.0 km (4:30 / km) +55m 4:16 / km

Penrhyn park run. Hillier than the course description led me to believe but very scenic - around the National trust gardens of Penrhyn Castle. Beaten by both Alice and Eileen on the age grading .

Run 15:00 [3] 2.0 km (7:30 / km)

A warm up lap

Swansea intervals on Black Pill. Special guest appearance from Kris's more talented older brother. Or at least that's how I understand some of the Tring runners refer to him.....Good to catch up with him. Also his dad on his first run since a hernia op....

7 X 2mins ish with a rolling recovery.

SWOC Street race from Haydn's in Whitchurch.

Indecisive early on and got strategy wrong. But felt like I was running OK.

Good turn out - Mulled wine for the third night in a row ! Shame the rain shower came as we were out there.

Slightly bonkers MDC run round various members houses in Radyr, Tongwynlais, Taffs Well and Pentryrch with a Mari Lwyd ( decorated horse skull, with bells etc) singing songs, being rewarded with mince pies and mulled wine. Its what happens when you have an expert in welsh folklore in the club. I suspect it will become an annual tradition.

Surprised we went as far as we did - fortunately the rain had cleared and it was a lovely clear moonlit night. A lot of fun..

Twmbarlwm via The Dell of the Nightingales and the Solar farm. Back straight down the lane.

Orienteering race 42:47 [4] 5.81 km (7:22 / km) +218m 6:12 / km

Blue course at British Camp on the Malvern Hills. Legs felt a bit tired from Saturday's efforts, and lack of a rest day this week. So opted for the Blue. In fact quite short so maybe I could have done the Brown, but very much enjoyed what I did. Not particularly difiicult, but a couple of route choices - of which I think I probably got one right and one wrong. And because it was short, I felt able to attack it. So a nice outing. Glad we weren't running in the downpour we had on the drive home.
