Brown at BOK trot at New Beechenhurst. Pissing down with rain

Pretty cold and wet before I started - setting up Maze etc - so ran in running jacket. Soon warmed up and really enjoyed the course. NB is a great place to run. Large parts are not particulalry technical, but the slag heaps add a nice bit of variety. Tho' could have done withoutthe windbow blocking the obvious re-entrant down south form the north westerly most one.

Surprised there weren't more bluebells out - given what an early start they seemed to have elsewhere this year I guess the aweful weather over the last few weeks has slowed things down a bit

Good to see the hide, Alice, Charles and I lovingly created back in 2007 in use

I think they had about 4 takers for the Maze
