Note
(sick)

Sickness gone but got the runs badly. Headaches still bad.

Lost 2kg in 3 days. Worrying?

Note
(sick)

Still feeling very bad. Headaches, dodgy stomach, no energy.

To make things worse we had to leave at 8.30am and I had to sit in the car while everyone did the relays. Then a 4 hour journey home.

Note
(sick)

Felt freezing all night and barely slept. Dragged myself up at 3am as I knew I felt very rough. Sat in the bathroom for half an hour and thought I was ok so went downstairs to get a drink and then threw up lots. Oh dear.

Note
(sick)

On the sofa all day. Very low on energy and feeling faint. Been sick a bit more.

Orienteering race 39:09 [4] 7.0 km (5:36 / km) +310m 4:35 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talons (5)(sz10)

JK Middle race - 50th - 8:13mins down on the winner

Ran ok for the first couple, but then died on the first hill. After that I struggled, mainly on the hills. Navigation was ok, but small misses were costly as I was running slow.

Pulled something in the top of my shin after the sprint and it was aching for the entire race. Once I finished it felt worse and I had to hobble around.

I also felt really rough. Put lots of layers on and ate but still felt cold and faint.

Event: JK 2013

Orienteering race 15:48 [4] 3.6 km (4:23 / km) +15m 4:18 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talons (5)(sz10)

JK Sprint race - 36th place - 2:29 mins down on the winner

Had the best race I could have hoped for. Struggled physically to get up to speed and changes of direction took i t out of me. Shame the course was easy and lots of dead running with little decision points. Just about which way round the building to run.

Legs very stiff once finished. This is the fastest I have run in months.
