Surprsingly stiff? Only activity I did yesterday that could cause this was standing for hours on the mats at the climbing wall...back of legs tight and lower back really stiff...ended pathetic workout with some stretching...

Wow. I was really still stiff and sluggish...usually better on second half but when I turned around the wind hit and it was a push to the end. Glad I went but not sure what is wrong???

Likely the last day skiing...it was snowing but slo much snow is gone it is sad...I've never seen it like this.

Nice run on Prairie Loop from Barrier Lake Dam trail head with Charlotte...13 km loop and we added the 600 meter detour to the look out. Great views and great conversation....

Wow...thought I would feel much better through out the race. Discovered I have been training for long slow runs and that is all I can do! I made mistakes everytime I picked up my pace and intensity...did much better jogging along. Plus I was happier just jogging along and reading my map. Bet I came last!

Hung flags for Marion on short courses (4.6km) then ran beginner course (2.6) which took me 16 minutes - wonder what those little kids would do? 10min?...nice to get out and do something. Weather was beautiful - breezy though. Did I really not workout this week???

Short day of skiing. Again lots of powder and no sun...both kids with me. I was totally bagged! Legs like jelly then burning...we did get some really good crusers in at the end as I was refusing to do the double blacks by then!!

Ran home from sat work day at office again...left at 3:30 - was only suppose to work few hours - oops. Only had cup a soup and cluff bar for lunch..run seemed to drag on (on pavement) until carburn park short cut on dirt trail...actually enjoyed the lafarge pit bit as it too wasn;t on pavement. Went into fish creek to take the clay trail. Pavement is really getting me down!! Good thing was that it was sunny and I had music!

Starting to feel guilty marking this as training so only counting 2 hours of a very physically challenging day! Another powder filled day at sunshine with only Molly this time. Blizzard conditions ( a couple of well timed sun breaks on mogul filled Freefall very appreciated) but amazing snow (usually over our boots and sometimes thigh deep). The double blacks in Wild side (finally open) didn;t seem steep anymore - is that due to revelstoke and kicking horse or the deep snow??? Molly & the hill wore me out by 2:30...maybe a tad of Prairie Mountain effect too?? Forgot to note that I fell walking on ice in the parking lot and really hurt myself...didn;t realize how much until next day when shoulder and butt were really stiff...

Climbed prairie mountain with Bill and Molly...wanted to get in a more intense climb but darn mother instincts kicked in and I waited and tried to ensure Molly enjoyed herself by chatting etc. Good thing was my fitness level is sure higher than those two! I need to look up the climb as I didn;t wear my gps..wore shorts which proved very unfortunate at the top when the sun hid and the wind was relentless. Very wind chilled legs even in the car on the way home.

Molly & I teamed up to do Karen's April Fool's O event at Edworthy. Did the big hill first to warm up and get it over with! We had fun but my youngest doesn't really like to run after 3 kms...we thought we got all the flags but one in the score o but turns out one we thought had no flag actually did so alas missed 2. Molly is convinced it was misplaced and she had a few who agreed. Me - no idea!
Had fun after with everyone at Loaf & Kettle...does it still count as training?
