With my two beagles, Pepper and Dee Dee, and Harley, a nine month old French bull dog beagle mix, that we are watching for 10 (VERY LONG) days.

Home, to Shirlington Dog Park (no beagles escaped here), to home via Pepper woods, where, Pepper, ironically "escaped". More exactly, the three leashes got tangled, and Pepper was dropped, because she is the most reliable of the three... I took the other two home, and then went back for Pepper.

In the past, I would not have bothered with collecting Pepper, knowing that she would come home from Pepper Woods pretty quickly, but Animal Control caught up with us last month (only took 2.5 years), and so, I needed to make sure I was making an honest effort at Pepper recovery. I admit, I was constantly, and fragrantly breaking the leash rules, and I have no issues with being reined in, not that I have to like it. The dogs are I of 2 reasons why we have bought 10 acres to build on in 2020.

Anyway, it was a wonderful way to spend a 49 F way to start the day.
