Up at 3 AM, wide awake, so I downloaded the rest of the trip pictures and finished and sent off the Federal income tax. Will do the State on the State site since it was going to be $24.99 to submit it through TT. No way I am paying that!
Pepper is anxious to get out into the woods, and she was up at 11:30 last night, after being up at 12:30 the two nights before. I was two tired to deal with her, and she peed on the rug. This was after "accidents" earlier this evening and yesterday evening because we didn't take her out at 6ish. I sure wish she would give us an idea that she needs to go out.
Anyway, I suited up, and with Pepper on the leash, we hit the woods. Problems right away - Pepper was on a strong scent, snorting and sniffing, pulling like mad, yipping and dancing, and the headlamp seemed sort of dim. I blamed the low light conditions on foggy glasses and mist in the air. There was no way I was going in the woods with an excited dog without good visibility, so I got her to go my way, and stuck to the street and then back on the bike trail. Just before the crossing for the DMV, the light died, so I crossed there, and we walked the rest of the way on the sidewalks.
One good thing was that the icebugs I put back into the shoe rotation didn't bother my feet, even walking on pavement for 1+ miles. Yay!
It was a good way to start the day.
