MRI results Yes, it is upside down, so you will really have to be into the minutia of MRI results to go any further.

So, I'll recap for you...the results were somewhere in between "it is all in your mind" and "you need surgery NOW!"

So, I went for Orange for O, or possibly Orange for loOk at me!!

Casted and anti-inflammatories for a month. A five day dose of oral steroid in lieu of a shot, which they would have only been able to administer to me if I was passed out already.

Get to be driven around by Roger, and others in the meantime.

Ah, the highs and lows of the last few days. Yeah! Hope to tackle lots of paperwork in the next month to replace the bike rides. Or, if nothing else, I hope to remember to turn over often enough to avoid bedsores.

Seriously thinking that NZ in late December/January was to be my O trip of a lifetime. Probably not happening.

8 AM

Biking (to work) 33:00 [1] 6.82 mi (4:50 / mi) +12m 4:49 / mi
shoes: Shimano Bike

Wind conditions pretty consistent - neutrally hard and easy at the same time.

First day of school, which usually doesn't affect me much except for the added traffic around the house (two schools within a block) and at work (I work at a school). Office was quiet. Yeah!!
2 PM

Biking (back home) 33:00 [1] 6.19 mi (5:20 / mi) +66m 5:10 / mi
shoes: Shimano Bike

Ride home. Only easy part was along Potomac Avenue. Got up to close to 20 mph with the wind at my back. Pretty sure that I didn't even approach the 36 mph that the FR said I hit at some point. I only hit 21.3 going down the steep hill this morning.

Supposed to get my MRI results tomorrow. More afraid that they won't find something wrong vs. finding something wrong.

And, because Lailah makes me smile 24/7...from early August.
