Orienteering (Control pickup) 35:00 [1] 2.0 km (17:30 / km)

Control pickup after Riverbend meet. Snow on ground was a bit slick especially near controls. Good to get a bit of exercise after a day of working.

Ran the .55 mile loop around the neighborhood. Splits with a minute of walking each loop after the first 2 loops were: 5:42 5:10 5:34 5:43 5:41 5:33 5:38 5:39 6:00 (opposite direction with an extra 100 meters). Wind in face on half of each loop.

Running (Treadmill) 52:00 [2] 4.0 mi (13:00 / mi)

Running on the treadmill at 5 mph always feels like I am really running faster. Starting at 4 mph, I ran 200 meters at each .2 mph increment up to 5 mph. Ran 600 meters at 5 mph then worked my way back down. Repeated though the second time I ran 400 meters at each increment on the way back down.

Walking (Treadmill) 20:00 [1] 1.0 mi (20:00 / mi)

Warmup and cool down.

Walking (Treadmill) 30:00 [1] 1.7 mi (17:39 / mi)

Warmup and cool down. Walked up to 4.5 mph pace.

Running/Walking (High #2) 30:00 [2] 2.3 mi (13:03 / mi)

Program from warmup to 6 mph. Chest a little tight at 6 mph, but I was able to do it for the 3 whole minutes at that speed. :)
