Note

Poleaxed! Thought it was "just" respiratory issues, but the shortness of breath my mother (80) is experiencing is more sinister than that. Cancer is playing fast and loose all over her body. Doesn't want to do any treatments, which I respect. Who really knows how long. This really sucks, and is so sad, and it turns out that being the responsible child sucks as well.

Map printing last night - 3 hours.
Total = 10.5 hours.

Brought my bike but did not go out - too chaotic with MTBO followed by regular event with a Score-O.

Throat is sore again since yesterday.

All under 6 minutes, motivated by a women about my age and built like me two lanes over. She was a little slower but didn't appear to be taking any breaks.

Haircut today. A glimpse of the recently relocated Records Center behind me...ceilings are 10', instead of ~8'. That alone is a big plus.

Knew I didn't have the extra 10 in me quite yet, but attempted it anyway, trying to stay relaxed and working on breathing. Not horribly slow.

After work again. Like this schedule, getting to work by 8 and then to pool at 430ish before dinner. Sadly, next week reverts back to school pool hours of 530-830 or 11-2 or 6-close. Realize that swimming is good for me, so I will work out a plan ahead of time, most likely swimming at lunch time and working longer at the end of the day.

Needed this after another sweaty morning at work. Move is mostly done now. Feeling better about things in my new digs - two floors up from the basement. Can't believe I was down there for five years.

Quiet now, but school hasn't started yet. In the band/choir hall. Could be interesting - middle school music.
