Orienteering warm up/down 30:00 [3] 4.9 km (6:07 / km)

Two lots of warm up for the two races

Sprint Scotland race 1. Course 2, same as the Elite women, Maja Alm 11:31, me 14:55 !
Missed 9 before the underpass and confused and lost time at the second last control.

Similar issues with the Elite women - they are faster runners and better navigators than me, Maja was 12:** for this one. Pretty clean run, one non-optimal route to 3 probably lost about 15 seconds. Managed not to be caught by Roger who was 1 minute behind (at the start, a little closer at the finish)

Had a wheelsucker most of the way, stuck in my slipstream even when stopped at traffic lights, with not a single word, cheery or otherwise.

Gentle afternoon spin, including a mini-trespass adventure and a pratfall when my pedal hit a hidden stump and stopped significantly faster than I did. Another bash on r knee.

Orienteering 35:00 [3] 6.2 km (5:39 / km)

Patrick's urban orienteering training in Erskine. First loops was a left/right exercise with Thomas. Main conclusion is that he is faster than me!. Second loop involved an unfortunate incident with a bollard (unharmed) which ended with skinned knees. Good fun and good to try, but not at my best having come straight off a trans-Atlantic fight.
