Cross Training warm up/down (Cycling) 30:00 [1] 6.0 mi (5:00 / mi) +50m 4:52 / mi

Cycling on the mountain bike to and from todays event at Brierley.

Orienteering race 30:57 [5] *** 5.0 km (6:11 / km)
spiked:20/24c shoes: Inov8 Flyroc 310

45minute Score at Brierley. First O race since the Jukola. Was pretty rusty especially at the start. My distance judgement certainly wasn't as great as it normally is probably lost ~1.30mins total on a technically pretty easy race.

Andy Llewellyn wooped my ass (nearly 5 mins) hopefully that's due to him running well at the moment.

Note
(sick) (rest day)

Woke up feeling much better than the day before. Gave hill intervals a miss though as I didn't feel it wise after feeling so ill yesterday. Looking forward to actually doing some orienteering tomorrow.

Note
(sick)

Woke up feeling like my head was going to explode. Glands pretty swollen too so I ache all over. No training today then, even had to have the day off work. Started feeling a liitle perkier in the evening.

Note
(sick)

Sinusitis now kicking in. Got a meeting regards the Sprint champs at the uni this evening. Originally planned to do a bit of training before hand but have had to give that a miss.

Cross Training (Football) 1:00:00 [2]

Six a side with work. Blisters still sore so not as much running as normal. Think a cold may be starrting also, woke up with a sore throat and synussus have felt blocked. Decongestants seam to have helped though.

Running long 1:10:00 [3] 9.0 mi (7:47 / mi) +200m 7:17 / mi
shoes: Asics

Run Home from work - well that was the plan. Got severe blisterige on both feet so Amy has to pick me up 9 miles into the 13 mile run.

That'll teach me not to wear my running socks.

A good soak and popping the blisters made them feel much more comfortable. Should be fine for a return to football tomorrow. How I've missed it because of injury.

Running tempo 30:00 [3] 4.0 mi (7:30 / mi) +10m 7:27 / mi
shoes: Asics

Run to Amy in Beeston from work with my bag on my back. Still aching abit from the hill intervals Saturday and why are the crossings always on red!
