kayaking 2:00:00 [2] 10.0 km (12:00 / km)

Kayaking around North Island and back to Secret Cove. Very nice morning with low tide and all the birds having their breakfast. Some swimming in the cold ocean after kayaking. Fun trip! I love this place. It feels like every day is Sunday on Sunshine Coast.

orienteering 45:04 [4] 5.3 km (8:30 / km) +100m 7:46 / km

WET at Princess Park. Made it just back from our kayak trip with a very short stop home. Good course with three loops. I felt slow at the last loop as usually. A lot of people came out, there were orienteers everywhere in the park.

kayaking 4:00:00 [2] 21.0 km (11:26 / km)

kayaking from Secret Cove to Smuggler's Cove, across Welcome Passage to Buccaneer Bay on Thormanby Islands for camping and evening kayak to Dennis Head on the South point for a hike to a small lake plus return to camp site. Great time, sunshine, no one around, only seals and eagles present (a lot of them). Very calm ocean in the evening. Pretty much the best conditions you can imagine.

kayaking 3:20:00 [2] 15.5 km (12:54 / km)

back from Bishop's creek to Deep Cove with a stop on Twin Islands. Much calmer and smoother than on Saturday. The summer will probably never come to Vancouver. Not too many boats around, my boat felt very fast and light (or is it my muscles?). Fun weekend. Have to do more kayaking.
