Cycling 18:00 [1] 5.8 km (19.3 kph)

I arrived home on Monday to a very snotty and slightly miserable family. It seems that I am now also developing whatever it is they have. :-(
5 PM

Cycling 20:00 [1] 6.5 km (19.5 kph)

Ok if there is a reasonable way to *leave* South Station to go back to Cambridge by bike then I have yet to find it. Ugh.

Our flights out of Copenhagen were cancelled on Sunday because of the SAS strike. We were both rebooked for flights today on other airlines and SAS took care of us with meals and hotel and even a metro card to get there and back. It was great to be able to eat, sleep for 6 hours, eat again, and then sleep for another 8 hours before having to get on the trans-Atlantic flight. And then I didn't have to sleep on the flight and was able instead to do two things I hardly ever have time to do - read a novel and watch a movie! (Both were entertaining but not awesome.)

I had a good time commentating and am not at all looking forward to listening to myself, though I will have to if I am going to do it again and expect to get better. I think Boris and I worked well together -- he knows more about the runners and clubs than I will ever care to, and I can just sit there with a face made for radio and talk about squiggly gps lines and how the illuminated controls are definitely not the same ones over and over again.

I hope everyone watching the English coverage enjoyed it and if not then perhaps you'll get another chance next year!

O in Sweden after breakfast in Copenhagen. I did a wee bit of orienteering to find some of the controls the suckers actually *running* Tiomila are going to have to find tomorrow.
