Note

Up late packing for the final time. Our friendly Dutch moving guy arrived right on time this morning and very quickly loaded up our stuff into his truck and drove off with it, much to Lukas' concern *and* delight. So many boxes yet they took up the tiniest fraction of space in his giant truck! And back in the apartment it doesn't look like we've shipped everything off since we still have a decent amount of furniture we have to get rid of. Unfortunately, since it is now summer basically all of Oslo is off on holiday so there's a good chance we may not be able to sell all of it.

With this done + a big deadline at work on Friday I now feel completely drained. All of a sudden I can do something with my evening that isn't packing/purging or working, though really what I need is a few nights of decent sleep. Maybe Lukas will sleep past 5am a few mornings for us as a special treat.

In to work, picking up the last five Stolpejakten controls on the St. Hanshaugen map and a couple on the Majorstuen map. It will take seriously concerted effort to get all of the Nydalen controls before we move. On the plus side, the app now allows for rotating the map which makes it a lot easier to use.

No kick today.

Truck arrives on Saturday to take all the stuff we're shipping. Eep.

In the gym with Amir, last session of the pack. Went through a bunch of exercises to make sure I knew how to do them, plus some new ones I can easily do at home.

This was right after my goodbye lunch at work where I indulged in a nice plate of pasta carbonara so my gut was a bit heavy.
