A bit of a failed experiment this morning. I got a late start and didn't have quite enough time to run and make it to the office for the start of a meeting. Fastest way to work would almost certainly be to bike door to door but I am not willing to park my bike at my current office (new office from October has indoor bike parking!) So instead I ran to a citybike, zipped down the river, then ran the last few minutes. Unfortunately it was no faster than a quick run on the direct route. In order for this to work I need to stick to the direct route and get lucky in terms of open stands near work.

Decided to use this fancy mountain bike for something more than bopping off to the grocery store and getting to trainings. Rode trails back home from Nedre Blanksjø. Started off okay but the last part was too gnarly for me and there was less and less riding. There was a time when I had some skills and some nerve but I have neither of those now and I need smoother trails.
