Pre-running the D35/D40/H15-16, etc. course for Nydalten. Good stuff. Physically tough, as is just about any course in this area.

It was raining on and off and there were lots of snow patches out there. You know, typical May weather. I had not heeded the advice to wear winter socks, because May, and would probably have been a bit more comfortable with them. Everything seemed ok, my navigation was safe and successful, and I was done in plenty of time to move on to my second assignment at the babysitting tent. I don't know whose bright idea it was to put me there ("she has a kid now, she can totally play with random Norwegian kids for 3 hours!") but I survived so it's all good.

Late evening trot to get out. Most of the snow from overnight had melted but not all of it. Yay spring?

In Helsinki for the Fluido Boot Camp for new hires. Squeezed in a run before dinner. It snowed before and after my run but not during. Yay spring! Or, as the dry humored Finn (is there any other kind?) might say, "winter is coming".
