Road running warm up/down 28:00 [1] 4.0 km (7:00 / km)
shoes: BA10

800m w/u, 800m c/d, and 6 x 400 recovery between 400 intervals.

Road running intervals 10:00 [3] 2.4 km (4:10 / km)
ahr:156 max:178 shoes: BA10

6 x 400 at the WPI track, done at increasing speed. High winds were blowing from the east, maybe 15mph. I didn't notice when the wind was behind me (homestretch), but it was in my face on the backstretch. Oddly enough, the 200 into the wind, run first, was faster than the 200 with the wind, run second. Only in one interval was I successful at evenly splitting the two 200s.

The interval times were 1:49, 1:46, 1:44, 1:43, 1:40, and 1:36. HR ranges from 142 for the first to 159 for the last.

Legs felt at about 80%.

Road running 57:38 [1] 6.4 mi (9:00 / mi)
ahr:152 max:177 shoes: BA9

Out and back from the karate studio. Legs still less than 100%, but much more functional than after last week's 12M.

Road running long 1:36:27 [1] 10.0 mi (9:39 / mi)
ahr:145 shoes: BA10

The Crusher, clockwise, from Tatnuck Square, w/ R. and J. I was dragging a bit on the hills for the first couple of miles (no warmup), but after a Gu I felt a bit better, quite peppy toward the end, which is downhill slightly, after you reenter Worcester, but we were running sub-8's acc to R's Garmin and they felt fine.
