shoes: Boots

Second day of the competition. This section was the tabbing with full kit between the first three events. After that we dropped our day sacks. A lot of climb on this day the first leg was a bit of brutal one.

After dropping kit everything excellerated and we were being judged for best time between stations. I was dragging our teams female for a large amount of this bit.

Tabbing long 4:00:00 [4] 20.0 km (12:00 / km)

Sandhurst cup competition
This was ther first day of the contest, have broken it down a little but this block is the general tabbing between events with full kit. Most of it was along tracks but we had to move fast to make all the timings for each event.

The Track 10:30 [4] 2.0 mi (5:15 / mi)
shoes: Gel-DS Trainer

First event was the Americans fitness test. Went out fairly hard because it was average time of the team. Girl timing seemed quite impressed by my time, running is clearly not that big a deal in the American army.

Battle PT 15:00 [5]
shoes: Boots

Casualty evacuation stand and I got dicked with carrying the casualty up the ski slope. This was brutal felt like my lungs were going to explode after half of it so swapped out for a bit then had to take the casualty for the final quarter I was in amuch worse state than they were pretending to be by the end.

Orienteering 1:30:00 [4]

Tis was the final stand of the day 1hour 30 nav ex. Split into 2 teams of 4 and I was told to lead the team going to the furthest hill. We were using 1:25000 whihc made it a little more difficult and we were also carrying webbing and weapons. Got all but one in our area and got back just in time and completely dead.

Will add distance and climb when i have the map.
