Running on Paths hills 21:30 [4] 4.56 km (4:43 / km) +93m 4:17 / km
slept:9.0 shoes: Inov8 x-talon

Got back to Sandbags with enough light to go for a run, ended up doing a little bit of a hill session. Legs felt pretty rubbish up the first two steep hills but started to feel a lot better on the 3 longer hill loops I did.

Running on Paths 26:49 [2] 5.6 km (4:47 / km) +40m 4:37 / km
shoes: Inov8 x-talon

Slowed down a little after doing the hills and did a large loop back, tired to keep it fairly flat. Legs felt pretty good and my running felt a better than it has recently.

Running on Paths 46:49 [3] 9.6 km (4:53 / km) +104m 4:38 / km
slept:11.0 shoes: Inov8 x-talon

Afternoon run with Ali. The Brockhall loop with the Robert's barn extension added on. Nice to get out, but legs were struggling a little bit with the mud in some of the fields, finding it hard to keep grip, clearly out of practise.

Circuits warm up/down 15:00 [3]
slept:6.0 shoes: Gel-DS Trainer

Warm up for circuits. Body was feeling pretty awful after yesterday.

Circuits 30:00 [5]
shoes: Gel-DS Trainer

Morning circuits. A set of burpees, hand release press-ups, medicine ball squats, lie down stand up with a medicine ball, med ball sit ups.
Set worked in 1min blocks. Certain amount if each activity and rest of the minute recover. 5, 10, 15.
Then a running set, which my legs struggled with massively.
And finished off with some rope climbs.

Running Road warm up/down 20:00 [1] 3.59 km (5:34 / km) +26m 5:23 / km
shoes: Gel-DS Trainer

Bit of a jog around the grounds of Sandhurst before the Army Cross Country Champs. Not feeling particularly fresh, legs are a little sore from yesterday.

Cross Country race 34:32 [5] 9.14 km (3:47 / km) +118m 3:33 / km
shoes: Gel-DS Trainer

Army Cross Country Champs.
Same route as the company cross country race I did last term, has a couple of brutal short steep hills and one long drag that make it quite a tough cross country course. I did ok and think I came in 22, but feel I could have done a lot better if I hadn't done the AFT yesterday, also had a couple of moment where my stomach was feeling quite dodgy, I was the second Sandhurst runner back though and the team came first, so have another army medal.

Tabbing 1:57:00 [1] 8.0 mi (14:37 / mi)
shoes: Boots

AFT. The Annual Fitness Test. A fairly slow walk as a Platoon with 21kg plus a rifle. Not very difficult although I did spend a large amount of it wishing I had eaten breakfast. Shoulders are very sore from it though.
