Decided to have a day off training as I thought it would be better for me to go to the beach and play on the rocks dodging waves and going to the Cream O' Galloway ice cream factory.

Up visiting the Grandmother so went for a run in Galloway forest park. Ran up a track to a junction then carried on up hill, continued a little after reaching the top before i remembered i would have to run back up, so turned around and realised just how awful the weather was, by the time i got back to the looked like i had been standing in a shower.

First weekly weigh in for a couple of weeks and I am still shedding those pounds.

Accidentally agreed to work until a time that meant I couldn't get a lift home. So decided to run this seemed like a good idea before i got to work and had a look at how far it is. Forgot my watch so the time isn't completely accurate. Ran the route to athletics and then up past Upton and through Duston found some alleys that cut some distance and main roads off the route. Then got out of the town and out towards Harlstone and back to Brington. Legs felt a little tired from the start and my body felt dead by the time I got back.

Run from work to the track. Had forgotten watch so distance was done on Map my run and might not be completely right and time is a little rough as just done on the clocks when leaving and arriving. Managed to find a much better route this week which avoided jumping of peoples front garden fences, and also avoided getting stabbed in the underpass again which is always a win.

Athletics. This session was a bit of a surprise when i turned up seemed a little quick for this time of year.
5x400m 2mins 4x300m 90secs 4x200m 1min

Fairly happy with the times for this session little quicker than the target but fairly consistent.
400's: 67.8, 70.1, 68.1, 66.8, 65.8
300's: 47.4, 48.7, 47.7, 46.4
200's: 28.2, 28.4, 28.3, 28.6

Late start at work today so did a run before heading in. Went down to the rifle range, up to the top of apple through little Brington a loop on the moors then back via the Whilton road and the half cut copse.
The distance and time might be slightly off due to have to stop for some cows every now and again, including having to go within about 2m from the largest bull i have ever seen. The ploughed fields were very sticky again which made the legs feel heavy.

Jog around the park to the start point for the session.

6x 1km intervals 90s recovery. 3mins after the third.
Was feeling a little rough before the session but felt better as it went on.
Times: 3:22, 3:15, 3:18, 3:20, 3:22, 3:14.

Bit of a run with Ali legs felt a little tired and the ploughed fields didn't help very much. Just went up to Nobotle woods back to little brington and across to the half cut copse and then home.
