No training today as had my regimental interviews while Sandhurst Cup training was going on so missed the phys bit (luckily) but still managed to pull something in my glute doing pairs fire manoeuvres on the range.

Hill session. As found out today that I have put on more weight this term and weigh 94kg at the moment. So decided to try and beast myself a bit, went for some short sharp hill intervals to start. 5 Up and back downs on, then moved to another hill and did a loop working hard up and down. I was going to do some longer hills after this but my legs gave up half way up the first one.

Sandhurst Cup Practice session.
This was a beasting carrying 25kg including weapon. HAd to tab out to the area with some ammo boxes within the team, then do a section attack then best effort to the top of saddle back hill. Followed by a mini nav ex which I lead the quick group for so we were moving pretty quickly. After that we had to do a casualty evacuation were the finish point kept moving.
Felt completely dead at the end body is destroyed.

Practice for the Platoon log race. Could have been harder but only had one log between the Platoon and some people couldn't even keep up with that.

Sandhurst cup extra training after the platoon stuff. This was a lot harder.
Sprint with the log, rope climbs, sprint with the log, up and over on one of the frames with a cargo net, hill sprint with the log, heaves, hill sprint, firmans carry (200m with the CSgt who weighs a lot more than he looks)

On a battle field tour n Normandy and went for a short run from the hostel. Found a random bridle path that lead to the nearest town and happened to find a supermarket which was lucky as dinner turned out to be a piece of chicken and some pasta with no sauce.

Patrolling contest in mixed teams with the Germans and French. Not Particularly hard work until then end as the German girl we were with was not particularly good, I was told to take her day sack after 200m.
Last part was a little more intense with a casualty evacuation and some of the assault course.

Sandhurst cup circuits. So a nice early one again. In teams of 4 for the session. So had to work as a tram to get the highest number if reps on each activity in 4 minutes.
Pull-ups, firemans carry shuttles, row, wall balls, power clean, rope climbs.
Pretty tough session but put team won, could have done with slightly less leg work considering this afternoon. Smashed the row and the rope climbs though.

Inters Nav Ex. This did not go well, it was not helped by the fact that controls had been put out in the wrong place, but I did Pretty badly. Main error was putting one of the points on the map in the wrong place (quite drastically wrong) and lost a large amount of time. Legs were also extremely painful from this mornings session and I couldn't get moving at all.
