Training camp in Aalborg with OK Ravinen. Did a local race today on Blokhus Klitplantage. Ran D17-20 and came 2nd. Was fun but quite and easy course. Was good for getting to know what was mapped as what and what the terrains like. Did make any massive mistakes but lost a bit of time in the green at the end. Apart from that was orienteering pretty smoothly. Was pouring with rain but was a lots of fun and cough is lots better :)

Travelling to Denmark. Pretty uneventful but managed to get on the right bus but going the wrong way so had to get a later train. Was fine though :)

Still not fully better but felt a lot better today. Don't have a headache and cough has gone just got a bit of a bunged up nose. Was going to go for a jog but then decided not push it too soon. Am going to go for a walk later though so I actually do something. And it's half term :) :) Have been doing lots of packing for Denmark.

Cough had turned more into a cold and feel very shivery. Fingers crossed it'll be gone by Sunday.

Is not my lucky week. Calf has recovered and is fine now. But now have a reallly chesty couch. Had a really bad headache and felt awful this morning but felt fine by the afternoon just when I try to run I burst into fits of coughing. Am hoping another day of rest and an early night and it will be fine by tomorrow. But am going to rest until I'm better as don't want to be ill or injured in Denmark.

Calf is pretty much almost better and would have gone for a bike ride except I am now feeling quite coldish. So I've decided a rest day and an early night to let my body completely recover. Then I'll resume training again tomorrow.

Haven't been swimming for ages but think I'm going to have to cross train for the next few days as don't think it's a good idea to run until my calf is better. Anyway was good and was suprised to find it easier than I thought I would. This might have had something to do with the fact that the swimming pool was really busy and kept having to stop to let people get ahead. Was fun and managed to do 60 lengths :)

Note

Have been icing and massageing calf and is a lot better than yesterday but still not fully better. Is on the mend though :)

Did some of the exercises from the folder I got at the weekend. Wasn't the best session as was after dinner. Need to make sure I do my core stab stuff before dinner :)
