Walk from Grange - Borrowdale over High Spy and Maiden Moor towards Cat Bells. Weather was great compared to Saturday with great views. Hip not too sore but had taken a couple of pain killers.

Langdale Horseshoe Fell Race 95th place 2.57, winner 2.14- promoted as a classic and it was definitely a physical challenge. Wet and windy condition meant it was boggy and very slippery on the rocks throughout. Many runners falling.

Hip started hurting off Bow Fell and any running section became really painful. Kept going as didn't have much choice. Strong up the climbs but loosing loads of places downhill. At Bow fell 72nd and if held that would have done 2.50 so lost 23 places and 8 minutes.

OMM looking unlikely.

Post work long run in the Pentlands. Lovely and dry underfoot made it very pleasant. Hip sore again so that's it physio needed.
