SOL Fairy Knoll - should have enjoyed this more, but just too tired from the week and the hard run from Dunblane. As soon as I banged knee and had to walk up the hills stopped try so retired.

Shame the extractors have trashed large parts of the area

FVO Dunblane Urban Race - Ran hard and pretty clean. Great course, good route choice and maximising more intricate areas. 7th just 3 minutes down.

Orienteering 29:50 [2] 3.08 km (9:41 / km) +41m 9:05 / km

Shadowed Jamie around the junior course. Once he had a strong reminder that he had to focus on reading the map and control flow, he improved a lot and much smoother.

after having a house in Newtonmore for over 9 years, can't believe I haven't done the full Wildcat Trail. Time to make amends. Started off feeling rough after the overnight sleeper experience back from London. Really enjoyed new sections following the River Spey being nice and flat. Will definitely do this again on the next visit.

Tough to get out this morning in rainy London. By the time it got light the skies had cleared and it was a very pleasant temperature. Followed the Regents canal, I use to run with my Dad many years ago from his office in Old Street to the Isle of dogs. Looking at the map after, missed opportunity to run through Victoria park and have a look at the Olympic park.

treadmill session in Crown Plaza in Shoreditch (great!), stats suggested a jog, felt much tougher than that - plan to watch the football which was cancelled.

unplanned run at Blair Atholl Castle - headed out to check the woods. 6 days area in 1984? I couldn't remember it. Ended on a track too high so had to cut down through the terrain which was rough as previously thinned. Very enjoyable run in the sushine with great Autumn colours.
