lovely sunny day at Dunkeld - Hermatige. As Dawn was staying near Kenmore only option was to take Jamie round the white course. So a nice little jog for 20 minutes, and Jamie did manage to run most of it.

Road Biking 2:00:17 [3] 52.3 km (2:18 / km) +600m 2:11 / km

Fantastic ride from Kenmore back to Braco, over pass to Glen Quaich - 430m climb in 5km got the lungs going early on. lovely sunny weather great views.

Felt strong today averaging 30km/h back from the top of the pass to Braco.

Good to be out running. Followed the same route from the previous wednesday run with the club mostly in terrain, a tad faster this time. Its official winter is here - shocking horizontal driving rain.

Still feel achilles slightly - will it ever get better?

From work to Dunblane - nasty head wind all the way. Really dull from Airth especially as knackered at that point and getting darker by the minute. Going over road bridge next time as can't be so boring that way.

Out last night until 12pm, so felt ropey at 6.30 this morning. Ride from hotel in edinburgh centre out to work.

bit speedier run this time to last week around Doune - can still feel achilles but gradually improving

session on cross trainer - 45 on and 15 off for 20 minutes plus work up and warm down

hard as HR between 165 and 174 most of the time

Ride after work from home taking advantage of sunny weather and still being light at 7pm. Tried pretty hard on route straight to Kiniell bridge and was at an average of over 30km/h. Uphill and headwind back via Gleneagles golf club so overall average not so good at 27.8kn/h
