medium speed - felt in control and faster than recently

Down 10-15 seconds on respectable timing

Run out with map onto Craig a Barns - felt slow, picking way through terrain. a bit tricky on way back down picking way through crags but good terrain practice

Strenuous in places walk carrying Jamie in places up to the top of Craig a Barns - back / core muscles well worked

Track run from braco out towards Windfarms. Headed out as far at the end of the forest and then headed south. Rough terrain through forest linking rides together find new route back through to Braco / Ashfield road. Saw nobody on run.

Christmas morning run with Al from Porter valley over to Limb valley and back. Hard up the hills, on the coat tails of AL

Run round from Dad's around Linacre Woods. Sis had map with course so jog round. Calf is sore, with lump at the top.

Note

worry over pain at the top of my right calf, just like DVT 7 years back - went for scan and it appears to be just overuse at intervals from the warmup! high knee lifts!!

doing lots of work at treetops at Newtonmore so had to resort to run in the dark back in Braco on paths / track - not inspiring

terrain run out the back of Braco. Felt pretty good considering late night in Edinburgh. Calf although tight wasn't any problem

Calf felt tight which was a bit of a worry.

Road ride from Scone Palace Back to Braco

Long tough ride into freezing head wind and very dark at the end. Had to ride holding mini LED light, as main lights ran out

Glorious sunny run out the back of Braco, with layer of snow on the ground

First 40 minutes with Dawn and then extended loop and run back
