Feeling pretty tired so went for the Brown

Pushed fairly hard but it felt like a struggle the whole way. Caught Kirsten at number 7 and Jess at 13, but it took a long time to get away.

Really good area with some good mix of legs across slopes and short technical legs

British Middle M35 - Winner!
Very please with very tight competition. Kept it togther in technical quarries early on and then once it got easier tried to push hard. Lost around 1 minutes across #1, #5, #11

Stanton Moor turned out to be a great area

Qualifier Loughborough Uni - good racing and made interesting with 2 other m35 rival setting off at the same time. Saw Ant through the course but he had a shorter end and got away. Just enough to qualify in 6th place for the final.

m35 sprint final. much tricker than morning session. just missing flow early on, and making a few wrong decisions in the control circle. Result was 4th place, 4 seconds off, bronze medal. Both Geoff and Rob miss punching allowing Ray to take the victory.

Lacking pace and flow to be 50 seconds off lead.

Missed session yesterday due to bumping into old house mate I'd hadn't seen for 10 years and going for a drink.

Got up early and went exploring the streets of Manchester.
Realised I hadn't got running top, but found solution and thought I looked quite dapper in day before work shirt with cuff links!

Followed route to Rochdale canal and did a there and back run.

Been a while - ride out to Gleneagles Muthill and back to Braco. Strong head wind expected on way back and it certainly was.

Kinoull Woods - dropped off car at Kwik fit and went out for a run / session with Jamie and Dawn. Picking out a few controls for Jamie, winding up to the top of the hill and then back down.

JK Relay - 120+, Silver Medal.

First leg mass pack race, fast and furious. Missed 30 seconds at #3 and that was about it. Just trying to run as hard as possible.
Very pleased to be announced back 1st on the 120 relay although 20th on the main race. Nice few scalps.

Andy S 32 seconds, Andy P 41 sec, Geoff 45 sec. With Dave R 1:12.

Fraser maintained lead at 40 seconds. This was eaten up by Jon having hardest 1st leg gaffle which Tim took advatage with the easiest. Not quite anough for victory, but good to take BAOC.
