Why is it just before a big race I get ill? I spent most of Saturday night at my friends in Loughborough throwing up and wanting to die. Clearly I shouldn't have started as I walked most of it and pretty much collapsed into the car. To say I'm fed up is an understatement. How I managed to drive home afterwards I don't know, had to stop for a nap at Stansted! NJ came 4th so the careful preparation wasn't entirely wasted.
After 2 really crap performances in selection races I think I can forget it.
