Running 3:46:00 [3] 18.25 mi (12:23 / mi) +6120ft 9:24 / mi
shoes: Wildhorse-B

Baldo with Josh, Brian, Jeff, Jon Clark and Michele Graglia who just won badwater and heads out Wed for a 700 mile race. ha! Good company. Last time we all ran was Whitney just a week before Mavo was born. Feels good to be back.

Felt so amazingly good today. Probably from being lazy all week but my legs are strong from the last few long runs in the mountains and my lungs are acclimated. Easy jogging and hiking and when everyone headed back down from the notch I added Telegraph peak. Just wanted to run all day... So stoked to be back running some trails!!!

Running 42:00 [3] 5.0 mi (8:24 / mi) +200ft 8:06 / mi
shoes: Nike-Zoom-Peg33-green

Hicks path with Monique while pushing Mav - Finn at school. Hot and felt so good to run. Tough week at work and just did not want to drive out to Santa Cruz for the 70.3 so staying home...and packing. Need to keep up with my non-start paying race quota.

(rest day)

Big work day - Sony yday and in Bako today (spent last night). No pop or desire to train except swim and missed window. All good. Sorting things out and can call it a taper if I was going to race. So stoked on everything going on right now and first real "drive" with the car. Material but super stoked on it.

Beckham and Pearson crew -
Tuolumne to Agnew trails - and some extra to the bus and back up waiting

Got up early finally and the weather could not have been better. We still did not get a water filter so we packed about 100oz with gloves, jackets, etc. So stoked on this Salomon vest and how well it handles load.

Easy running just cruz mode and stopping for pictures and waiting most of the day. About 3-4hrs in I needed to open up a bit and just ended up waiting longer and longer for the guys. Sucked getting going again but this route was so beautiful!! Ended up using some girls pump at 1000 lakes but had plenty of water. Gave a bottle to Ryan anyways and dumped a bunch. Plenty of cals and energy. Wanted to tack on Deadmans Pass and was set on it but just kept it mellow thinking I was going to do Santa Cruz 70.3. My mind is swimming with routes in Yosemite and Colorado for some epics!
